Brooklyn - Photography

My sister Brooklyn is our go-to photographer. (She took all of the pictures of Kyle and I for this site). Brooklyn's still pretty young to be involved in a time-consuming photography business, but we decided it would be fun to make a logo for her. Plus, this gave me a reason to design something different from what I normally do! Most of our requests are for weddings these days. We love designing for weddings, but we're also interested in other projects, too. This was a fun way to practice some more business-oriented design work. Thanks for always taking fantastic photos of us, Brooklyn! We hope you like your new logo.

Grad Announcement.

This is a personal project from a few years ago, back when Photoshop was very new to me. My sister Brooklyn was nice enough to come up to Ogden and take some pictures for me. After editing the pictures, I just threw an announcement design together (it was really fast, in the midst of finals and graduation prep).

As Kyle and I have been putting this blog together, it's been really fun looking through all of our design work. It's interesting to see how our styles change, too. Anyway, here's a copy of the graduation announcement we made. I can't believe it's almost been two years since I got my degree!

Kyle's Mock Design.

Sometimes, when we're bored around here, we start playing with different designs.

One of Kyle's favorite foods is a Vietnamese dish called "Pho", which is sort of like a beef vegetable broth. Kyle served an LDS mission with the Hmong people in Fresno, so he really enjoys a lot of the foods they make. A few years ago, it was pretty hard to find a Pho shop in Utah, but recently we've noticed that they're becoming more common. I think it's a secret dream of Kyle's to own a Pho shop (he's that obsessed, you guys). Anyway, he did this mock business design for a Vietnamese Pho restaurant, and I thought it was pretty awesome. Take a look!
